When I think of loops yarn is not the first thing that comes to mind. Loops remind me of long wandering trails through state parks and preserves. This new loop style yarn is changing the game and there’s so much you can do with it.
When I saw a picture of this yarn wrapped wreath from Sewrella on Pinterest, I knew I had to make one. I’m so glad I did because it’s one of those simple and satisfying projects that’s completed in under an hour.
Loop Yarn - I used 2 skeins of Loops Boucles in Earl Gray
-This yarn is sold exclusively at Michael’s craft stores
Tie your yarn on to the wreath using a few knots to secure.
Begin wrapping yarn around wreath keeping yarn taught and pushing it together after every few rows. Use the wire sections to keep yarn in it’s place.
Once you are about half way done, tie on your second skein and continue wrapping.
Once wreath is completely wrapped, tie off your ends and weave the loops in to hide them.
Now your wreath is ready to decorate or display as is.
