The Sahara Scarf uses a simple stitch and technique to create a knit-look pattern.

SUPPLIES

9mm hook or size needed to obtain gauge

35mm hook or 1.5" dowel

Large eye tapestry needle (16)

Wool and the Gang Cotton XL - 2 balls (Pictured -Interesting Beige and Oh My Blush

NOTES

You will need a 35mm and 9mm hook to complete the specialty stitch required

Because you are working in a slip stitch it is important to keep your stitches loose

During your increase rows (3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, & 25) you will be adding by 2

For FLO rows (4, ,6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26) make sure you count your stitches

FINISHED SIZE

Wide: 8 inches

Narrow: 52 inches

GAUGE

13 sl st x 10 rows = 4 inches

-Work gauge swatch in a slip stitch working the blo for first row and flo for second row. Alternate blo and flo between each row
