Today I took a class on the Japanese art of Shasiko • Sashiko is a form of decorative reinforcement stitching and it’s name means “little stabs”. Making these two pieces was the most relaxing thing I’ve done in a while. I’ve been working on a pair of Sashiko pants and I can’t wait to try out the new skills I learned today once I get home.
